TOP 5 BEST 2019 BBCOR BATS

As the weather gets colder up here in the north and winter is quickly approaching many bat companies are releasing their 2019 bats. We have been receiving many questions on what bats we use and what bat we recommend using so we decided to put together a detailed list with links to where you can buy them.

A couple of things to note before selecting your bat for the 2019 season is the different types of BBCOR bats. There are three different types of BBCOR bats: Composite, Alloy, and Hybrid.

Composite bats are usually the bats that perform the best, but also have the higher price tag. These bats require a break in period of a couple hundred swings before they are broken in. These bats are usually balanced and have a trampoline effect when broken in.

Alloy bats are usually less expensive bats that are game ready right away and are more durable then composite bats. Alloy bats tend to have a smaller barrel and thus a smaller sweet spot when hitting.

Hybrid bats are made up of both composite and alloy material. They tend to be priced in between composite and alloy bats, while they are usually made up of a composite handle and an aluminum barrel. These are also ready to go right out of the wrapper and are more durable than composite bats.

The next step of choosing the right bat is to pick the perfect length and weight. Below is a chart that you can use as a guideline to what size you should be using based off height and weight.
